62. Hennepin County, Hopkins

Kids' area featured a "farmer's market" with plastic produce; it's nice to see libraries (see also Sun Ray) providing some of the creative play that kindergartens are leaving behind. Also some nice kid-size curved, upholstered seating. And a fire engine and shadow theeater. I especially like the map of the town with magnetic "buildings"; a bicycle front wheel stuck out of the wall, and you could spin it to select a "bike route." Computers, quiet study room, lots of Spanish material. Stained glass accents; very nice.
